Our First Full Week
We have had an exciting and fun filled first week in Year 4!
The children have settled in brilliantly and it has been a pleasure to get to know them all.
In English we have been focussing on the work of Anthony Browne and I have been very impressed by their thoughtful and creative ideas. Maths has seen us getting to grips with place value.
We were lucky enough to have our first Music session with Mr Brooks. He bought in ukeleles for us to play with and we can't wait to perform to you near the end of term.
In Science we have started looking at states of matter and have carried out investigations on solids, liquids and gases. We had great fun observing the 'coke and mentos' reaction.
The first set of homework and timetables will be given out on Wednesday and will be due in the following week. The yearly overview can now be found under the curriculum section of the website and I will upload it here too.
For this half term only we are changing our PE sessions to Mondays and Fridays. If the children can make sure they bring in their PE kits on these days, that would be great.
