Writing

30 mins

Today you are going to start writing your story but you do not have to complete it today.

Start this session by looking over your story map from yesterday – can you still tell your story to someone?

Now add onto your story map, how your characters are feeling at the different points in your adventure.  Are they sad? Happy? Scared?

With an adult, decide where the beginning, middle and end of your story are, you may want to mark where these are on your S plan.

You will then spend 10-15 minutes writing the beginning part of your story.  Remember to take your time, add in your FS and CL, also remembering your finger spaces.

Once you have finished your writing, monkey talk it to check that you are not missing any words or punctuation.

Handwriting

10 mins

For your handwriting today, I would like you to do two lines of:

m, n, u.

Then using your HFW booklet, copy out the next 4 words.  As a challenge, write each of these words into a simple sentence.

Over this week, we are exploring Easter and why it is important to Christians.

Continue watching from 33 to 54 minutes of the Story Keepers Easter story

After watching, talk to your adult about what you have seen and what you have learnt so far about the Easter story.

In your Home Learning Book, I would like you to write down two things you have learnt about the Easter story from today’s part of the film.
