Hello everyone

This week our author of the week has been Michael Rosen and the children have all loved joining in with his story of We're Going on a Bear Hunt. They have all made their own bears that are now decorating the classroom and we've talked about whether we will be brave enough to go on our own bear hunt next week.

Thank you to all of you who ordered Christmas cards. The children's artwork has now been sent of for scanning and printing and our cards should be back in a couple of weeks.

Some of the children brought in their names to show me how they had been practising during half term. Please keep the names and letters at home and continue to practise when you can - it is our class target for us to all be able to write our own name and we need lots of practise.

What a beautiful week it has been, so much nicer to be cold and bright rather than grey and wet. We have been outside as much as we can. Please make sure your child has a coat in school every day.
