Hello everyone!

 

We have had another great week here in Year 1. In Maths this week we have started to count in 2s. The children have had great fun identifying equal numbers. Especially when we pretend to share cookies equally and they end up with more than me.

In English this week we have started our new learning journey ‘Lost in the Toy Museum’. This week the children have been labelling and describing their own toy. The children also looked at the front cover of our new book and thought of questions they would like to ask. Thank you to everyone who has sent in a picture. It has been great to look through the children’s different favourite toys.

In PE this week we have had great fun!. Today we had a range of equipment out for the children to practice their balances on! I was so impressed with how many ways they found to balance.
