Welcome back everyone!

It has been great having everybody back in the classroom this week! It was brilliant to see the children’s reactions to a rocket having landed in our room! The children have enjoyed being astronauts just like Bob from our English book.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  In English this week, we have continued our learning journey focusing on ‘Bob the Man on the Moon.’ We have looked at writing in the contracted form and have planned our diaries ready for our writing next week.  In Maths, we have recapped counting in twos and have used this so that we can complete some problem solving tasks. The children were very excited in Science this week when we brought together all of our learning on Animals so we were able to compare them!

Book change:

Book change days are Monday and Thursday. Please do continue to keep reading at home daily and discussing what has happened in the story.

Library books will be changed on a Wednesday. A note has gone home in your child’s reading record if they have any library books that need to be returned.

P.E days:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Monday and Friday.
