Hello everyone! 

We have had a great week in Year 1!
I just wanted to say it has been great having all the children back in and we have had a brilliant 4 weeks all together! 

In English, we have finished our learning Journey by making our own Gruffalo inspired recipes. With a range of names such as Fox Candy and Snake Pie!  I have  attached a few (edible) recipes if you would like to get baking over the holidays! 

In Maths, we have been using our knowledge of counting in 10s to help us complete repeated addition. 

In Art this week we have finished our work on space by making our own Aliens.  
The children worked so hard on creating them and making sure they looked like their designs. I was so impressed with their final products! 
In D&T, we made our own Easter cards following our plans of making a moving card! These all looked brilliant and I know the children were very excited to bring them home tonight to show you!
