Hello everyone,

We have had a great week in Year 1!

In Maths this week, we have been looking at weight and recapping the words heavier and lighter. The children have been using scales in the class to weigh different objects.                                                                                           In English, we have started our new learning journey using the book ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’.                                         The children have loved starting a new book. We finished the week by writing questions to ask Oliver. In Science this week, the children carried out an experiment, finding out what material was the most waterproof.
