We have had a lovely week. We have completed our art unit for this half term and the children had a wonderful time taking art outside! The children have been very inspired by Andy Goldsworthy’s sculptures so the children made their own in the sensory garden. I have attached the pictures to this post. 

In English we have started writing the final piece for this unit.  The children have planned their own information page for a flying creature and started recording their ideas in paragraphs. We are looking forward to finishing and publishing these next week.

In maths we have been focussing on solving problems with addition and subtraction that include more than one step. This can be challenging but the children have persevered and worked very hard. We are now revisiting money and will continue our learning in this area next week.
