We Enjoy and Excel in the Presence of God

Year R

Friday Blog - Friday 24th June

Good evening everyone,

There has been great caterpillar excitement this week as our caterpillars are all now in their chrysalises. They have been moved to their butterfly gardens. We are like expectant parents awaiting our new arrivals! We will let you know when our first butterfly emerges. Today we have made our own butterflies using tissue paper to decorate them. The children predicted what our caterpillars will look like. They were brilliant at making their butterflies symmetrical too.

This week we enjoyed a PE session out on the field that was led by students from Brockenhurst College. The children were fantastic participants, listening carefully to the instructions and joining in with their usual enthusiasm. They then gave feedback to the students about which aspects they enjoyed the most. The college tutors were very impressed!

Badger Class said goodbye and thank you to Miss Shepherd who has been with us for the last two weeks. We look forward to seeing Mrs Shilton back with us on Monday.

Wishing you all a great weekend,

Clare
