The children have had another fantastic and busy week in Badgers Class and have continued to show great enthusiasm in all of their learning.
In Drawing Club this week, we explored the Banana Man animation. The children loved watching and talking about the characters and events, and used this as inspiration for their own creative drawings and sentences. It has been wonderful to see their imaginations flourish and their confidence in storytelling continue to grow.
In maths, we have been building on our understanding of numbers to 10. The children have been making different arrangements of 10 and exploring number bonds to 10 in both two and three parts. We have also been learning about doubles to 10. The children have enjoyed using practical resources to support their learning and are becoming more confident when explaining how they know their answers.
In PE, we have continued to develop our ball skills. This week, the children practised dribbling and controlling a ball, showing great focus and determination as they improved their coordination.
As a special treat today, we had an Easter egg hunt inside the classroom. The children thoroughly enjoyed searching for the eggs and it was lovely to see their excitement and teamwork!
It has been another wonderful week in Badgers Class, and we are very proud of all the children and their hard work. We hope you all have a lovely and restful Easter break!
