We have had a lovely week in Badger class.
To help us learn more about our topic 'People who help us', we had a special visit from a doctor who told us all about his job and answered the children's questions. We had some fantastic questions and some excellent knowledge which we were very impressed by. Some children even said they wanted to be doctors when they grow up. A huge thank you to James Goodman for coming in to do this for the children.
In maths, we have been looking at 2D shapes and how we can manipulate and rotate them for new purposes. The children's shape knowledge is fantastic so they really enjoyed using the shapes to create shape pictures. We had some really creative ideas!
Today, we had a practice for Sports Day. The children had a wonderful time and I know they will be just as fantastic next week for the real thing. We are looking forward to seeing you for the picnic lunch.
We have enjoyed spending lots of time in the outdoor area this week. Lots of the children are really enjoying playing cafes in the sandpit and also getting out the watercolours to paint. It is lovely to see.
Have a wonderful weekend.
