We have had a lovely week in Badger Class. We released our butterflies with mixed emotions -  Badger Class waited patiently for the butterflies to fly out and waved them off as they flew away. Some of the children gave the butterflies a little extra help to fly off. We talked about how they were going to look for a safe habitat and somewhere to lay their eggs. The children were able to explain how the life cycle would start again. It was a very exciting morning and we will miss our butterflies!

We have started to record our observations in a caterpillar diary. The children have done some fantastic writing. 

In maths, we have been making and building maps. The children have enjoyed creating maps of their favourite stories, their home and school.
