We have had another busy and enjoyable week in Badgers Class! The children have been making great progress in their learning and have shown lots of enthusiasm across the curriculum.

In phonics, the children have continued to develop their skills and are growing in confidence each day. In maths, we explored mass and capacity, using a range of practical resources. The children really enjoyed hands-on activities, comparing and measuring different objects and containers.

In Drawing Club, we explored What’s in the Witch’s Kitchen? The children loved drawing imaginative objects, ingredients and scenes, and shared some fantastic creative ideas.

We also really enjoyed porridge making this week, linking back to our work on Goldilocks and the Three Bears – it was lots of fun and (thankfully!) just right!

In RE, we learned about how Christians show that they belong, encouraging thoughtful discussion and reflection. The children also enjoyed time in our new café role-play area, which is helping them prepare for our upcoming visit to the church, where they will be taking part in a café experience.

We finished the week with a lively PE dance lesson which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

Looking ahead to next week, we have lots of exciting things planned, including a church trip on Tuesday where they will be hosting us for a café experience, and a pantomime on Thursday – very exciting!
