Badgers have had another fantastic week in school and have continued to show great enthusiasm across all areas of their learning.
In Drawing Club, we explored the old animation Batfink. The children really enjoyed discovering this classic character and used it as inspiration for their own creative ideas and discussions.
In writing, the children produced some fantastic work based on the story of Zog. They wrote instructions to teach Zog how to fly, thinking carefully about what he would need to do. The children also created some lovely drawings to match their writing—well done, Badgers, for your brilliant effort and imagination!
In RE, we have been thinking about change. The children discussed how their own lives have changed over time and explored how Jesus changed people’s lives. They shared some thoughtful ideas and showed great engagement in our discussions.
We enjoyed another Forest School session with Miss Welton this week. Some of the children were very excited to discover a nest in the playground, which sparked lots of curiosity and discussion about nature and wildlife.
In PE, we have continued practising for Sports Day. The children are showing great determination and enthusiasm as they develop their skills and prepare for the events.

A reminder that class photos will be taking place on Wednesday.
Also, as I’m sure you are aware, Monday is a Bank Holiday, so school will be closed.
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend!
