Badgers have had another lovely week in school and have continued to show great enthusiasm in their learning.
In Maths, we have been focusing on addition and subtraction, thinking carefully about how many we added and how many we took away. The children have been working hard to explain their thinking and are becoming more confident with these skills.
We had our class photos this week, and Badgers Class looked very smart and very cute! I am really looking forward to seeing the final photograph.
During Forest School, Miss Welton took the children on a welly walk. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the outdoor environment and embracing a bit of adventure.
In class, we have also been learning about and celebrating Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. The children were very interested in his work and the ways he has helped us understand and care for the natural world.
In Drawing Club, we explored the story A Little Bit Brave by Nicola Kinnear. The children enjoyed discussing the story and used it as inspiration for their own ideas and drawings.

We seem to be having an influx of lip balms in class. Please can children only bring lip balm if it is absolutely necessary, as it is becoming more of a trend than a need! I have spoken to the children about this. Thank you for your understanding.
Have a lovely weekend!
