Welcome Back – Year 1
Good evening,
It has been wonderful to welcome the children back and hear all about their fun summer adventures. Over the last two days, the children have settled in really well and have already shown how super independent they are. Well done, Owls! It has been a fantastic start to the new school year.
Now that the children are in Year 1, they are able to visit the tuck shop. Items cost 50p each. If you would like your child to purchase a snack, please send them to school with some money in a named purse or wallet. Children may purchase one drink and one food item per day.
A few notices to share:
PE – Monday and Friday
Please ensure that PE kits are kept in school at all times and that all items are clearly named.
Library – Monday
Reading Books – We will be sending reading books home in due course. We are currently spending time listening to the children read to ensure that they are matched with the right book.
Homework – Log-in details for homework will be sent home shortly.
