What a Super Week in Owls!
Wow, what a super week we have had! I have been so impressed with the children’s enthusiasm for their learning and how well they have settled into our new routines.
In Maths, we have been sorting and counting objects using ten frames to support our understanding.
In English, we have started Owl Babies, exploring how the owls felt and acting out different parts of the story.
In Phonics, we have been recapping our Year R sounds and tricky words. Please continue to practise reading tricky words by sight at home to help develop reading fluency. These are attached to the blog.
📌 Reminders
- Edshed: Maths homework and occasional Phonics games will be set each Friday.
- Little Wandle eBooks: Weekly books will begin next week.
- Sora: An online library with lots of lovely texts to enjoy.
- PE: Monday and Friday.
- Library: Monday.
- Book change: Thursday.
