In English, the children enjoyed exploring different sentences from Owl Babies. They have become experts at fixing sentences by adding capital letters and full stops. We have also been working on rearranging muddled sentences to make sure they make sense. We continue to develop our sentence construction skills and are now working hard to apply these independently in our writing.

In Maths, we have been finding one more and one less than a given number to 10, both practically and mentally. We have also been comparing groups of numbers using the language greater than, less than and equal to. • Little Wandle e-books have been set. Please read your child's book at least once.
• Reading Books: Your child will have two reading books to read at home. Please encourage your child to read each book more than once to help develop fluency, confidence and expression. Please remember to write in your child's reading record each time you read. This helps us to know when your child is ready for their books to be changed.

Geography Task – For Next Thursday 

As part of our current Geography topic, we are asking the children to look at a map of where they live and write down their home address. This activity will support their understanding of location and place. Please complete this task by next Thursday.
