Reading Wallet Children will bring home two reading books matched to their current reading level. Books are changed on a Thursday once they have been read. Please write in your child's reading diary when they need changing. We encourage children to read daily, or as often as manageable, with an adult where possible. Please discuss the story and ask questions to develop comprehension skills.

EdShed  One maths assignment will be set each week, usually on a Friday and checked the following Friday. A phonics or tricky-word assignment may also be set when appropriate. Children only need to complete the assigned homework. There is no expectation to complete every game or activity on EdShed. These are optional. Completing extra games will not complete future assignments, as new homework will continue to be set each week.

Little Wandle eBook A Little Wandle eBook will be assigned each Friday. Children should ideally read this once during the week with an adult. This is not checked, but is a useful reading resource.

Sora The Sora app is completely optional and is not part of the weekly homework expectations.

Additional Home Learning Short activities linked to learning in school may occasionally be shared through the weekly blog, such as practising or writing an address.

Maths Fluency Cards These have not yet been sent home. Further information will be shared when they are ready.

We understand that every family has different routines and commitments. Home learning is designed to support learning rather than create additional pressure, so please do what is manageable for your family.
