Penguins have worked extremely hard this week completing a few quizzes! Their determination and resilience has been phenomenal and I am so so proud of all of them - extra long golden time this afternoon!

Aside from some quizzes we have started a new English unit based around the short film Black Hat. The children have been making predictions about what they think will happen, exploring the characters feelings and describing the setting.

In PE we have been practising our throwing skills and today we have students from Brockenhurst College coming to teach the children. In science we are continuing our unit on push and pull with the children designing an experiment based around the height of a marble run and in geography we have been exploring how sugar is made and how much sugar is in different foods - the children and adults couldn’t believe how much sugar was in some foods we looked at! 

Penguins give yourselves a huge round of a claws for a super weeks work and have a well deserved relaxing weekend!
