We have had a lovely week in Year 2.

In English, the children have started to plan their stories based on the book ‘Follow me Little Fox’. They have created new characters to introduce in their stories and I have been very impressed with their original and creative ideas.

In geography, to help us with our enquiry question ‘Why don’t Penguins need to fly?’ the children have created an informative fact file about penguins. They already knew lots and it was lovely to hear them sharing their ideas with their friends.

In art, we have been using watercolour paints to choose the best colours to use in our final product at the end of the half term.

I have set some homework on EdShed. The children’s log in details are stuck into their reading diaries.

We are hoping to have Collins E-books up and running in the next week and the children will have a new log in to bring home. Apologies for the delay, this is due to a fault with the website.
