We have had a lovely week in Year 2.

The children have completed their stories and WOW, I am so impressed! They have worked so hard and it has been wonderful to see them show such pride in their work. They are looking forward to publishing them on Monday. 

In maths, we have been focusing on flexible partitioning and identifying numbers on a number line. This is really helping our place value knowledge and the children have worked hard and been resilient. 

In art, we have enjoyed making our silhouettes to add to our watercolour background. The children have worked hard to carefully draw and cut out their animals. 

We have started computing this week. I have been very impressed at how the children are able to log on independently and follow instructions carefully. They have also been fantastic at helping their friends if they needed help. 

Well done Year 2 on another super week.
