I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year. 

Just a quick reminder that Year 2 will be going to Lymington on Friday afternoon for their weekly swimming session. 

They will need their swimming costume, towel etc in a separate bag to their school bag. We will not be taking our school bag with us. If they would like to bring a snack and a water bottle, this will need to be able to fit into their swimming bag and be an appropriate snack to eat on the bus on the way back. 

I am aware that some of the children are feeling a bit worried about swimming. We have had a long chat this afternoon about how they will not be asked to do anything they are not confident with straight away, and I am there to support them, in exactly the same way that I am at school.
