What a fantastic week it has been in Year 2! The children have been working incredibly hard. It was lovely to catch up at Parent’s Evening and share the children’s brilliant work with you.

In English, the children have finished writing their stories. They have put so much thought into their characters, settings, and exciting endings.

In Maths, we have continued our learning on division and times tables. The children are becoming more secure with sharing into equal groups and recognising multiplication and division facts. To help support this learning at home, the children have been given a half-term challenge — thank you in advance for encouraging them to complete this and celebrate their hard work.

The recent school dance-off was a huge success! The children had an amazing time showing off their moves, cheering each other on, and enjoying the atmosphere. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces and such great enthusiasm. Congratulations to Rhinefield, our winning house.
