We have had a great week in Year 2. 

In English, we have started our new film unit 'Adventures are the pits'. Year 2 have really enjoyed this and have written a great recount from the point of view of the boy in the film. We have been focusing on using commas and adverbs in our writing. 

In maths, we have been looking at telling the time to o'clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to and times past the hour. They have done really well with this, but help at home is definitely needed! It is a tricky concept, especially as most clocks they see are digital. Your support is greatly appreciated. 

Year 2 really enjoyed Forest school this week. They celebrated David Attemborough's 100th birthday with painting and a tea party!
