We have had a very busy and exciting week in Year 2.

We had 2 fantastic mornings working on our DT project.  The children designed and created their own explorer vehicles, and the results were absolutely amazing. They showed great creativity and carefully thought about the features their vehicles would need for exploring.  Every vehicle was unique, and it was wonderful to see the children so excited to share and explain their designs. Well done Year 2.

In Maths, Year 2 continues to learn all about time. We have been practising telling the time to 5 minutes. I have been very impressed with the children’s hard work and growing confidence with this important (and tricky!) life skill.

Thank you all so much for the influx of fruit yesterday! Half of the class had a wonderful afternoon printing and arranging fruit for a photo shoot. The other half of the class had a fun afternoon out at Forest School and will have their art lesson to look forward to on Monday. 

We are looking forward to Sports Day next week, let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather! I hope you can make it and I look forward to seeing you there.
