A super week in year 3, the children continue to amaze me.

This week we have been discussing different themes in our focus book in Guided Reading  ‘The Barnabus Project’, we discussed how fiction books had different genres and themes. Wow, what a great half term the children have had in year 3! They have amazed us with all their hard work and efforts. It was wonderful meeting you all at parents evening to discuss how your child has settled and the progress they have made. Working together is vitally important, please contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

The children have written some super descriptions of the ‘Tin Forest’ this week, learning how to write in paragraphs and to reflect on their own and others work to improve it.

In Maths, we been recapping on our number bonds knowledge to help us work out 'subtracting 1s across 10s', ensuring we have a secure knowledge of place value within subtraction.
