Good afternoon everyone,

The highlight of our week has obviously been our new look Sports Day yesterday.  I hope you all agree that it was a fantastic success. All the children had such a fun and active afternoon and were all suitably exhausted by home time. They showed such resilience and great team spirit - I was very proud of all of them. The weather was perfect, too. Well done to the winning team - Oberfield!

In maths this week we have been looking at money. It is funny that, with technology today, the fact that adults are mainly using contactless payments, children have less experience of money than in the past. As a result, some of the children found this topic quite tricky. If you do have an opportunity to buy something with cash, it would be a great experience for your child! This week's homework also covers this topic.

The children have all worked very hard this half term and certainly deserve a good break. I wish you all a very happy half term,
