Good afternoon everyone,

We’ve had lots of fun this week in Roe Deer Class, particularly listening to our class read – Grimwood by Nadia Shireen. It’s lovely to hear them laughing as I read and they are always desperate to hear the next chapter. In English we have been writing our own interviews of Stone Age Beasts. We are hoping to make them into a class book, which is very exciting. Hopefully we’ll manage to finish it early next week.

Your child should have come home with a multiplication fluency card and an information leaflet, suggesting how you can support your child at home to learn their times tables. Once your child has demonstrated to us that they confidently know a times table off by heart, we will move them up to the next card.

We have already started our collection for Harvest in our classroom, in readiness for our Harvest Service at the church on Wednesday 8^th October. The children can bring in food donations any time before that date. Many thanks to those who have already sent in harvest donations.
