We Enjoy and Excel in the Presence of God

Year 3

Friday Blog - Friday 23rd January

Good afternoon everyone,

We have reached the end of our writing unit following the Mousehole Cat. The children have written their own stories about the storm in Mousehole from the perspective of Tom Bawcock. They were able to include lots of the writing ideas we have been working on over the last few weeks. I was very proud of how all the children tackled story writing and impressed by the finished stories. Throughout the last few weeks, we have been watching Mousehole via a webcam. The children have been fascinated by this and were delighted today when we finally saw some stormy seas crashing over the breakwater. Below is the web address if you want to have a look at home.

Can I say a big well done to Group A, who braved the rain for Forest School this week. Woodlouse Welton was very impressed by their resilience and said they all found activities to enjoy outside despite the awful weather (with no moaning!)  No forest school next week as we are all off to the pantomime, which is something to look forward to.

Have a lovely weekend,

Clare
