We Enjoy and Excel in the Presence of God

Year 3

Friday Blog - Friday 30th January

Good afternoon everyone,

We all had great fun at the pantomime yesterday afternoon – oh no we didn’t, oh yes we did! Robin Hood was very loud, with lots of opportunities for audience participation. The children were thrilled to join in with all the singing and even got to cheer on their teacher as I joined the cast on stage for a bit of a boogie! Thank you to the PTA for organising it.

We have started another lovely story in English – The Lost Happy Endings by Carol Ann Duffy. The book has already inspired some fantastic writing from the children, as they have put themselves in Jub’s shoes and written a diary entry for her.

This afternoon we have been looking at fossils and the process of fossilisation. Lots of children are keen to bring fossils from home, which would be fantastic. However, please don’t send in anything too precious as I would hate for anything to get broken.

Just a reminder that next Thursday will be Forest School again for Group A. Fingers crossed for a bit of dry weather.

Have a lovely weekend,

Clare
