We Enjoy and Excel in the Presence of God

Year 3

Friday Blog - Friday 12th June

Good afternoon everyone.

We always have a slightly crazy day when we're not wearing our school uniform and today was no exception. We started our day building a tower of toilet rolls - not something you do every day – and we certainly needed some resilience as our tower kept falling down. Sadly, we didn't win the seagull, but we did manage to donate a lot of toilet rolls to the Basics Bank. Many thanks also for the donations for our toilet twinning day.

Another thank you for all the photos of geraniums - Year 3 have definitely got green fingers! Don't worry if yours hasn't bloomed yet. One of our flowers in the classroom has only come out today. Keep the photos coming in.

Just a quick reminder as well for next week. We are off to New Park for our Discovery Day on Tuesday. The children need to be wearing comfy trousers and trainers, but must have a red school jumper or cardigan. They will need either a sunhat and sun cream or a rain coat - who knows with the weather we've been having!

You should also have received a letter about costumes for the KS2 production. Please consider when choosing your costume that it can get very hot on stage! Costumes must be in school by July 1st.

Have a great weekend,

Clare
