Good afternoon everyone,

We had such a fantastic time at New Park on Tuesday at the Food, Farming and Forest Discovery Day. The Sheep Show had us all in stitches as we ate our picnic lunch in the sunshine. We then visited a range of different activities around the showground, all with links to the New Forest. The children were beautifully behaved throughout and loved all the activities. It was a treat to be out with them all.

Back in school, the children have been working very hard completing some end of term assessment tests. It’s been lovely to see them work with such resilience, they’ve all come so far this year.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Savoury Afternoon Tea and Slide Shows on Tuesday 23^rd June. Please come at 2:15 pm, through the front office, and join us in the classroom. The children are very excited about it!

To round off our week, we have been lucky enough to have another tennis session this afternoon with Andy, from Sway Tennis Club. I just needed some strawberries and a glass of Pimms and I could have been back in Wimbledon!

It’s going to be very warm next week – just a quick reminder for sun cream and sun hats!
