Good afternoon everyone,

I know that the children have only been back at school for 2 days, but I have been so impressed by them already. They have come back to school eager to learn and with such respectful attitudes! It has been a pleasure to have them all – long may it last. They even managed to wow Mr Littlewood in our first worship of the year. They were sitting beautifully and listening carefully, so were chosen first to leave. Well done Year 3!

I have nearly managed to hear all the children read already, so books and reading diaries will come home on Monday. Please make sure they are in school every day. In the front of their reading diaries, the children have their log-in details for edshed and TTrock stars. I will usually set homework on Fridays and the children have a week to complete it, but I haven’t set any today.

Our usual PE days will be Wednesday and Thursday and our library day will hopefully be Tuesday.

Please say a big well done to your children for a fantastic start to Year 3.
