Good afternoon everyone,

This afternoon we have had great fun outside becoming Stone Age artists. We looked for things we could find in the natural environment and used them to create some stone age art. I’m not sure if Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was actually around 10000 years ago, but I just thought it was a great picture to share. My apologies if your child has come home covered in charcoal or blackberry juice – thank goodness it’s Friday and it will all be going in the wash!

In English, we wrote some fantastic newspaper reports about the escape of the failed pets from our current book – The Barnabus Project. We published our writing yesterday and the children took time to make sure the illustrations looked amazing too. Well done Year 3.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all next week at parents’ evening. It will give us an opportunity to discuss how your child has settled into a new year group.

Have a great weekend – I might see some of you later at the quiz night!
