We have had a great week. The class continues to make fantastic progress in music, learning to play the ukulele. They sound brilliant, and we are looking forward to showing you their new musical talent.

In English, we have continued to explore ‘The Race to the Frozen North’. We have recapped using fronted adverbials and subordinating conjunctions within our writing. The class did very well at remembering to include the correct punctuation. We then ended the week by writing in role as a captain meeting Matthew for the first time.

In maths, we finished our unit on decimals and moved onto money. Our knowledge of decimals has come in handy when converting pounds and pence and recording as decimals. Our money unit will be continuing next week.

There will be no Forest School next week, but Group 2 will continue with their sessions on Thursday 26^th June.
