Good morning and happy Friday! It is an early blog post today as we will all be enjoying the festivities at the fete after school. We hope to see lots of you there! One of our highlights this week has been starting our D&T project where the final outcome will be making our own lights. The class are very excited about this!

In other news, we have been exploring time in maths. We have looked at months, days, weeks and year and compared and converted them and will today be looking at minutes, hours and seconds.  The class have a few new strategies for remembering how many days are in each month.

In English, we have moved onto our new text, ‘How to Train Your Dragon.’ This text is familiar to some of the children and we have enjoyed looking at the first few chapters together. We have mainly been focusing on Hiccup and his character.
