Hi all,

We’ve had another great week in Year 4!

In Maths, we have continued our learning on multiplication and division. This week, we have focused on the 12 times table.

In English, the children have learnt about using prepositions and, today, have used evidence from our text, to give reasons why Lila is determined and showed courage. The children are all hooked on the book and are looking forward to finding out what happens next.

Within History, we have learnt how the Romans changed Britain. The children each took on an aspect that the Romans changed to research. In RE, we've looked at the difference between adult and infant baptism and this afternoon, everyone has painted a picture in the style of J.M.W Turner’s painting Rain, Steam and Speed. There were some excellent paintings!
