What a wet week we have had!

This week in Maths, we have been dividing 2 and 3-digit numbers by a 1-digit number. The children have been using a place value grid and part-whole model to support them.

In English, we have continued practising using fronted adverbials and have also been using subordinate conjunctions. Today, they have been planning their own narrative of mischief the nouka gets up to, ready to write next week.

In RE, we looked at the concept of gospel meaning good news. We looked at two Bible stories that show the good news. In Geography, we have continued to learn about climates and this week, the children learnt about biomes. This afternoon, the children have been using their sketching skills to draw a beetle. They took their time sketching the beetle and used their pencil to add shading.
