Year 4

Year 4 - 30.1.26
Hi all,
We’ve had another busy week in Year 4! The highlight this week has to have been the pantomime yesterday afternoon.
In Maths, we have been learning how to convert between kilometres and metres and today, we started learning about perimeter.
We have reached the end of our writing unit based on the book ‘The Boy who Lost His Spark’. The children have written a narrative about the mischief the nouka gets up to when another new family join the neighbourhood. I loved reading about what mischief the nouka caused in their stories! We have then published these to go on our display. The children were very excited as they got to publish in pen!
In Geography, we learnt about why the Amazon Rainforest is wet and humid and learnt about the water cycle. In PSHE, the children have been discussing their hopes and dreams and what happens when their dreams don’t go according to plan.
Have a fantastic weekend
Miss Bates
