Hi all,

In Maths this week, we have learnt about improper fractions and converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers. This is quite a tricky concept but the children have shown resilience in lessons.   

In English, we have been learning about using fronted adverbials for frequency. We have also been learning how to use apostrophes to show possession for both plural and singular possession.

This week, the children designed their soft toy, that they will be sewing in D&T this half term. In Science, the children enjoyed creating their own circuits, including adding in a switch.  

To celebrate World Book Day, the children completed different reading related activities with different students and staff around the school. They will all have brought home a £1 book token to spend.

Thank you to all those that came to the Hooke Court meeting. I have uploaded the powerpoint from the meeting, for those who were unable to attend, as a separate blog post. Please ensure that the school copy of the code of conduct and the medical forms are completed and brought into school next week. The deadline for payments is Monday.
