Year 4

Year 4 - 27.3.26
Hi all,
What a busy final week of term it has been! The children were absolutely brilliant in their music concert yesterday morning – they performed with such confidence and enthusiasm. We were also treated to a truly lovely Easter service on Wednesday, which was a wonderful way to reflect and celebrate together.
In Maths, we have begun learning about decimals. The children have been exploring tenths and learning how to represent them on a place value chart – a great foundation for their future learning.
In English, we have begun our new class text ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’. As part of our learning in this unit, we have been revisiting expanded noun phrases and apostrophes to strengthen our writing skills.
In History, we stepped back in time to explore the fascinating artefacts discovered at Sutton Hoo. The children were intrigued to learn about these incredible finds and what they tell us about the past.
I hope you all have a wonderful and well-deserved Easter break!
Miss Bates
