Dear parents and carers,

This Wednesday morning we had a fabulous Interfaith Morning, where the whole school divided up into mixed classes. The children rotated around three activities to do with Buddhism. It is always lovely to see the older children support the younger ones, and to learn something new.

This week we have started our Portals unit in writing, with a focus on Alice in Wonderland.

In maths we have started our new unit on multiplication and division.

In history we looked at where the Maya live today and how they earn a living.

In RE we have decided on our priorities for a messiah in the 21^st century.

In science we started our new unit of work on space. The children were very enthusiastic and there was lots of knowledge shared.
