Dear parents and carers, 

Another busy week in Year 5!

In maths, the children were learning about factors, common factors and prime numbers.  

We finished the book Blackberry Blue at the beginning of the week and spent Thursday and Friday doing some extra SPaG work (spelling, punctuation and grammar).  

In English, the children continued with work on portal stories, and this week we looked at the book Journey. 

The children had an extra PE lesson today from a specialist tennis coach. It was great fun and so nice to be outside in the glorious weather.
