Good afternoon,

Year 6 were brilliant role models yesterday during our whole school World Book Day activities. They really looked after the younger children that were in their groups and lots of other staff came and shared with me how lovely they were. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were very comfortable and relaxed in their comfy clothes and PJs. 

We started our new DT topic this week which is all about the importance of farming on food and locally sourced produce, and our final task will be to make quiches. There will be a letter coming out next week as we kindly ask for a voluntary contribution for the ingredients. 

A date has been added to the school calendar for a  SATs information evening - this will be held on Monday 24th March in the hall at 6:15pm if anyone missed this in the newsletter.
