Good afternoon,
The children have made us all extremely proud this week. They showed resilience, focus and approached all of their papers with a smile and a positive attitude. They have been a real credit and testament to the school and to all of you.
Throughout the week, the children have pieced together clues as to what this year’s production will be, and they have now worked out that it is ‘Oliver with a Twist’. We are all very excited!
Today we had a run-through for Sports Day next week, which is taking a different format this year. Please keep an eye out in the newsletter for information on this.
I sent home two items with the children today. One is a letter containing information about two trips planned this term. The other is some extracts from the script for Oliver Twist. The children should choose one character to audition with next week. This doesn’t mean that they have to go for this part, but it gives us an idea of their acting ability. If they would like to sing in their audition, they can choose a song of their choice that they feel comfortable singing.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
