Good afternoon,

It has been a very hot week! Please remember to send your child in wearing suncream and with plenty of water. 

This afternoon, we performed Oliver with a Twist to the rest of KS2 for the first time. We're really proud of the children for remembering their lines and for remembering to be on stage at the right times. We need to work on projecting voices next week so that every line is heard clearly. 

This week we have started a new text called 'Wonder'. It is one that many children have heard of; some have seen the film. It's a great book to stuy at this time of year, preparing for the transition to secondary school.  They have already produced some emotive writing linked to this.
