We had a lovely time on Red Nose Day today and the children have shown a good understanding of why we raise money on this special day. Thank you for your donations towards this cause and supporting mufti day.

This week we have been revising sounds qu, x, ng. We are really impressed with the children’s progress in reading and especially their knowledge of tricky words. We are encouraging them to take good care of their words but are finding some left in the corridors and in class. For this reason, please could you keep weekly words at home so that they don’t get lost. Many thanks.

We now have book changes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, thanks to our parent helpers which is absolutely fantastic!

We have been learning all about the story of the Three Little Pigs this week. We have painted pictures, made collages, written speech bubbles for characters and acted out the story. Next week we will move on to the Jolly Postman.
