Good afternoon everyone,

This week we have started a new topic about growing plants. We have read Supertato by  Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet, which the children have loved. We have painted his enemy - Evil Pea! Please watch out as the children keep telling me tales of his dastardly deeds and he has been spotted in lots of their homes!

Next week we would like to make our own super veg. Please could your child bring in a vegetable that can be turned into a superhero - a potato or carrot works well, but it could be any vegetable. Please bring them into school on Monday or Tuesday, many thanks.

I continue to be impressed by how well all the children are progressing with their reading. Thank you to all those parents who are regularly reading with your child at home - it does not go unnoticed!
