Phew - what a scorcher it's been this week. The children have coped well considering how hot it has been in and out of the classroom, but I think we're all exhausted! Thank you for sun hats and sun cream. We have kept drinking water much as we can. 

I have realised that this is my last Friday blog for the year. Your children's time in year R is nearly over. I hope you all enjoyed reading their reports. Helen and I are so proud of all they have achieved this year.

Yesterday the children met Miss Prichard, who will be joining us in September. The children were beautifully behaved for her and she greatly enjoyed meeting them. 

Today we joined the rest of the school for our worship outside. The singing was so good that some passing cyclists stopped to listen! 
 

The children have been doing a super job at sorting out jigsaw puzzles this week. We have completed most of our collection and found lots of lost pieces too. Well done Badger Class!
